Construction knowledge graphs of hepatitis B prevention strate-gies based on clinical practice guidelines/expert consensus
Objective To explore the association between hepatitis B prevention strategies in different popula-tions and to provide a scientific basis for decision-making and practice in this field.Method Through a retriev-al of Chinese and international hepatitis B guidelines and expert consensus, recommendations for hepatitis B prevention were extracted along with the entity, relationship and attribute data.Subsequently, via the py2neo library in Python the data was imported into the Neo4j graph database to build visual knowledge graphs. Results A total of 8 databases and 12 official websites were searched, resulting in an acquisition of 6 Chinese guidelines,2 Chinese expert consensuses,16 English guidelines and 2 English expert consensuses, from which 260 prevention-related recommendations were extracted.Based on them,8 entities including popula-tion,special populations,virus-testing operations, medical interventions, drug classes, specific drug names, timing and level of recommendation were extracted, along with 6 types of relationships such as operation selection, optimal timing of operations, medication selection, timing of medication, implement, and inclusion.Ultimately, knowledge graphs for screening,vaccination,mother-to-child transmission prevention,manage-ment strategies, and post-exposure prevention were constructed to provide corresponding hepatitis B preven-tion strategies for different population groups. Conclusion The construction of the hepatitis B prevention strategy knowledge graphs facilitates healthcare workers and the public in better understanding hepatitis B prevention measures. It also provides a scientific basis for decision-makers to formulate more targeted and effective hepatitis B prevention and control strategies, thereby promoting comprehensive and sustainable development in hepatitis B prevention and control efforts.
