Advances in research methods of environmental oncology
As a new interdisciplinary discipline,environmental oncology adopts an interdisciplinary fusion method to study the environmental factors of tumors and provide a scientific basis for tumor prevention and control.Introduced systematically in this paper were the conventional research methods in environmental epi-demiology,clinical environmental epidemiology and laboratory research.Modern research methods such as molecular epidemiology,high-throughput omics and gene-environment interaction were described in detail.In particular,the value of big data and artificial intelligence for research in environmental oncology was dis-cussed.The effects of environmental carcinogenic risk assessment,geographic information system and remote sensing technology on environmental exposure research were emphasized.The future development direction and challenges for environmental oncology research methods were pointed out.
