Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of high pressure liquid injection injury of hand. Methods The 18 cases of high pressure liquid injection injury of hands were examined by MRI before operation to make sure the involved area of liquid injection, early opening drainage and thorough debridement were performed to confirm the formal functional rehabilitation measures of finger(limb)after the complete clearance of injection. Results All pa-tients were followed up for 6~12 months. The wound healed normally in 17 cases, except 1 case of wound delayed healing due to infection and abscess, and healed after repeated debridement, expansion and drainage. No Finger(limb)necrosis, nerve injury and other complications occurred. At the last follow-up,TAM system was used to evaluate finger motion:excellent in 12 cases, good in3,fair in3,with an excellent-good rate of 15/18.The motion of interphalangeal joint and metacarpophalangeal joint of the patients recovered to normal. Conclusions For high pressure liquid injec-tion injury of hand,MRI should be performed before operation to fully evaluate the involved area of liquid injection, and opening drainage and thorough debridement should be performed as soon as possible, after the complete clearance of the injection, the patients can be guided to carry on the normal function rehabilitation of finger(limb),and the sat-isfactory curative effect can be obtained.
