Objective To investigate the effect of single loop titanium plate with latch loop(ACL-TightRope)system internal fixation for treatment of the acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation.Methods Single ACL-TightRope sys-tem was used to treat the dislocation of Rockwood type Ⅲ,Ⅴ acromioclavicular joint.Surgical conditions,postopera-tive complications,coracoclavicular distance,pain VAS,ASES score,Constant-Murley score and shoulder motion were recorded.Results The operation time was 30～60(51.19±7.33)min,the intraoperative blood loss was 5～30(16.43±7.31)ml,and the hospitalization time was 2～12(6.67±2.57)d.All patients were followed up for 12～26 months.There were no postoperative complications such as incision infection,skin necrosis,vascular and nerve in-jury,reduction failure,acromioclavicular joint re-dislocation,loop titanium plate slipping,etc.1 case had acromiocla-vicular ligament ossification.The coracoclavicular distance:at 1 d,12 months postoperation,the affected side was sig-nificantly shorter than that before operation(P<0.01);there was no statisitcal difference between the affected side and the healthy side at 12 months after operation(P>0.05).Twelve months after surgery,pain VAS was 0～4(0.45±1.05)points,Constant-Murley score was 86～97(95.09±2.74)points,ASES score was 85～98(94.00±2.89)points.Shoulder range of motion:abduction was 150°～174°(164.62°±6.97°),external rotation was 58°～75°(66.95°±4.41°),internal rotation was 54°～78°(69.14°±5.42°).Conclusions Single ACL-TightRope sys-tem internal fixation for treatment of the acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation can effectively improve the function of acromioclavicular joint,with simple intraoperative reduction,few complications and satisfatory clinical efficacy.
