Objective To investigate the curative effect of multi small-aperture three-dimensional core decompression combined with platelet-rich plasma for treatment of early avascular necrosis of femoral head.Methods The 42 pa-tients with early avascular necrosis of the femoral head(57 hips)were divided into observation group(22 cases of 31 hips were treated with multi small-aperture core decompression combined with platelet-rich plasma)and control group(20 cases of 26 hips were treated with simple multi small-aperture three-dimensional core decompression),according to different treatment methods.Harris score,femoral head collapse rate and complication incidence rate were compared between the two groups.Results All patients were followed up for 12～36 months.Femoral head collapse occurred in 4 hips(4/31)in the observation group,and 10 hips(10/26)occurred in the control group,the collapse rate of the femoral head in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).There were no postoperative complications such as infection and deep vein thrombosis of lower limbs in both groups.After surgery,3 cases in the control group and 2 cases in the observation group had obvious atrophy of quadriceps muscle,and 1 case in the obser-vation group(both sides were operated on simultaneously)accidentally fell to the left intertrochanteric fracture when getting out of bed at 1 month after surgery.Harris scores of the last follow-up:both groups were higher than those be-fore surgery(P＜0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusions Multi small-aperture core decompression combined with platelet-rich plasma in the treatment of early avascular necrosis of femoral head can improve hip function and relieve patients'pain.
