Full visualization endoscopic foraminoplasty for treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis under targeted guidance
Objective To investigate the efficacy of lumbar spinal stenosis treated with full visualization endoscopic foraminoplasty under targeted guidance. Methods The 68 patients with lumbar spinal stenoses were treated by full visualization endoscopic foraminoplasty under targeted guidance. The operation conditions were recorded. The pain VAS was used to assess the degree of low back pain and leg pain, and lumbar ODI was used to evaluate the lumbar function. The curative effect was evaluated by modified MacNab standard. Results All patients were followed up for 12~25 months. The operation time was 35~65(43.5±10.2)min;the intraoperative fluoroscopy frequency was 4~8(5.3±1.3)times;the length of hospital stay was 2~7(3.3±0.8)d.At 1 week,3 months and final follow-up,the VAS of low back pain and leg pain, and ODI were improved than the preoperation(P<0.05),there were no statistical differences at various time points. At the final follow-up,according to the modified MacNab evaluation criterion,38 cases were excellent,25 good,5 fair, and the excellent-good rate was 92.6%.Conclusions The treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis with full visualization endoscopic foraminoplasty under targeted guidance can relieve the pain and im-prove function, with satisfactory efficacy.
