Meta-analysis of curative effect of the combination of TCM and Western medicine in treatment for vertebroasilar insufficiency vertigo and prescription principles
Objective To systematically review the efficacy of the combined treatment of TCM and western medicine for vertebroasilar insufficiency vertigo(VBIV),researching the prescription principles of TCM formula.Methods CNKI database,VIP database,and Wanfang Data database were searched to screen clinical study about TCM and western medicine for VBIV,and the search time was from the establishment to September 1,2021,RevMan 5.3 was used to Meta-analysis,Traditional Chinese Medicine inheritance support system 3.0 were used to study the principle of prescription.Results A total of 25 studies involving 2 284 patients were included.The comprehensive total effective rate of the combination of TCM and tradi-tional western medicine[OR =3.83,95%CI(2.92,5.02),P<0.01],left vertebral artery average blood flow velocity[MD =4.95,95%CI(4.01,5.89),P<0.001],right vertebral artery average blood flow velocity[MD =5.39,95%CI(4.26,6.51),P<0.001],mean flow velocity of basilar artery[MD =5.24,95%CI(4.17,6.31),P<0.01]were better than the control group,plasma-viscosity[MD =-0.26,95%CI(-0.33,-0.18),P<0.001]was better than the control group(P<0.01).The results suggest that the main properties and flavors of commonly used Chinese medicines were warm in nature,and sweet flavor,their main channel tropisms belong to spleen.Cluster analysis showed that they were often used Ligustici,Poria cocos,Gastrodia elata,Citri reticulatae pericarpium,Licorice,Radix Paeoniae Alba,Miltiorrhiza.Conclusion The combined treatment of TCM and western medicine has better comprehensive effect for VBIV.The core prescription was based on the gstrodia elata,poria cocos,ligustici and miltiorrhiza.
