Effects of Shexiang Baoxin pills combined with aspirin enteric-coated tablets on carotid plaque,NT-proBNP and troponin I in patients with coronary heart disease
Objective To observe the effects of Shexiang Baoxin pills combined with aspirin enteric-coated tablets on carotid plaque,N-terminal pro brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)and troponin I(cTnI)in patients with coronary heart disease.Methods A total of 80 patients with coronary heart disease admitted to Wuyishan City Hospital from July 2020 to April 2023 were selected and randomly divided into the combined Chinese and Western medicine group and the aspirin group,40 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with conventional symptomatic treatment.On this basis,the combined Chinese and Western medicine group was treated with Shexiang Baoxin pills combined with aspirin enteric-coated tablets,and the aspirin group was treated with aspirin enteric-coated tablets.Both groups were treated for 12 weeks.The curative effects,carotid plaque thickness,IMT,blood lipid indexes(TG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C),NT-proBNP,cTnI levels before and after treatment,and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the combined Chinese and Western medicine group was 92.50%,which was higher than 75.00%of the aspirin group(χ2=4.501,P=0.034).After 12 weeks of treatment,the carotid plaque thickness,IMT,TG,TC,LDL-C,NT-proBNP and cTnI levels in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,while the HDL-C level was higher than that before treatment,and the combined Chinese and Western medicine group was lower/higher than that in the aspirin group(P＜0.01).During the treatment,no obvious adverse reactions were observed in the two groups.Conclusion Shexiang Baoxin pills combined with aspirin has good curative effect in the treatment of coronary heart disease,which can significantly reduce the thickness of carotid plaque and IMT,regulate blood lipids,improve the expression levels of NT-proBNP and cTnI,and has high safety.
