Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of serum hepatin-A1 and C1q tumor necrosis factor-associated protein 9(CTRP9)in diabetic retinopathy and their correlation with oxidative stress.Methods A total of 80 patients with diabetic retinopathy admitted to Peoples Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from January 2021 to January 2023 were retrospectively selected as the observation group,and 80 patients with simple type 2 diabetes were selected as the control group.Ephrin-A1,CTRP9 and oxidative stress indexes[superoxide dis-mutase(SOD),reduced glutathione(GSH)and malondialdehyde]were detected in serum of two groups to analyze the difference between Ephrin-A1 and CTRP9 levels in diabetic retinopathy patients at different stages.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of Ephrin-A1 and CTRP9 in diabetic retinopathy,and the correlation between Ephrin-A1 and CTRP9 levels and oxidative stress indexes in diabetic retinopathy patients was analyzed by Pearson correlation.Results The level of serum Ephrin-A1 in the observation group was(7.81±2.34)ng/mL,which was higher than that in the control group[2.25±0.76)ng/mL],while the level of CTRP9 was(98.17±10.13)μg/mL,which was lower than that in the control group[156.42±15.89)μg/mL],and the differences were statistically signif-icant(P<0.05).The levels of serum SOD and GSH in the observation group were(50.14±5.63)U/L and(142.34±13.98)mg/L,respec-tively,which were lower than those in the control group[(73.52±8.52)U/L and(189.71±23.56)mg/L],and the level of malondialdehyde was(6.89±3.07)μmol/L,which was higher than that in the control group[(3.56±1.02)μmol/L],and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).The level of serum Ephrin-A1 in proliferative diabetes retinopathy patients was(15.42±4.80)ng/mL,which was higher than that of non proliferative diabetes retinopathy patients[(6.09±2.11)ng/mL],and the level of CTRP9 was(75.25±6.73)μg/mL,which was lower than that of non proliferative diabetes retinopathy patients[(119.46±13.08)μg/mL],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).According to the ROC curve analysis,the sensitivity,specificity and AUC for Ephrin-A1 combined CTRP9 in the diagnosis of dia-betic retinopathy were 92.68%,53.69%and 0.931.According to Pearson correlation analysis,Ephrin-A1 in diabetic retinopathy patients was negatively correlated with SOD and GSH(P<0.05),while it was positively correlated with malondialdehyde(P<0.05).The CTRP9 level was positively correlated with SOD and GSH(P<0.05),but negatively correlated with malondialdehyde(P<0.05).Conclusion Serum Ephrin-A1 combined with CTRP9 can improve the diagnostic efficacy of diabetic retinopathy,in which Ephrin-A1 oxidative stress was positively correlated with Ephrin-A1,while CTRP9 was negatively correlated with Ephrin-A1,which is worth further study and application.
