Objective To detect the expression levels of serum microRNA(miR)-384 and polypyrimidine tract binding protein 3(PT-BP3)in patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy(HDCP),and to explore their relationship with adverse pregnancy outcomes. Methods A total of 100 HDCP patients admitted to Cangzhou People's Hospital from July 2020 to July 2021 were prospectively selected as the ob-servation group, and another 50 healthy pregnant women who came to our hospital for physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group.According to the pregnancy outcome of the patients in the observation group, they were divided into the poor pregnancy outcome group(n=47)and the good pregnancy outcome group(n=53).The clinical data of each group were compared, and serum miR-384 and PT-BP3 levels were tested and compared in each group. The correlation between serum miR-384 and PTBP3 expression levels in subjects was ana-lyzed using Pearson correlation analysis. The predictive value of both on adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with HDCP was analyzed using re-ceiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve. The influencing factors of adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with HDCP was analyzed using multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results The systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the poor pregnancy outcome group were(162.34±14.95),(108.11±10.01)mmHg,respectively,which were higher than those in the good pregnancy outcome group[(138.78±13.11),(99.35±6.03)mmHg]and the control group[(115.25±10.22),(73.56±4.66)mmHg],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The level of miR-384 in the poor pregnancy outcome group was 1.56±0.14,which was higher than that in the good pregnancy outcome group(1.23±0.11)and the control group(1.01±0.15),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The PTBP3 level in the poor pregnancy outcome group was(0.67±0.23)ng/mL,which was lower than that in the good pregnancy outcome group[(1.21±0.33)ng/mL]and the control group[(1.53±0.45)ng/mL],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that the expressions of serum miR-384 and PTBP3 in the observation group were negatively correlated(r=-0.472,P=0.001).The results of ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve(AUC)of serum miR-384 combined PTBP3 to predict adverse pregnancy outcomes was greater than the AUC predicted by serum miR-384,PTBP3 alone(P<0.05).High serum miR-384 expression in patients is a risk factor for adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients, and high PTBP3 expression is a protective factor for adverse preg-nancy outcomes in patients(P<0.05).Conclusion Serum miR-384 expression is up-regulated and PTBP3 expression is down-regulated in patients with HDCP,both are risk factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients.
