Analysis of influencing factors and construction of prediction model for anemia in male alcohol dependent patients
Objective:To explore the influencing factors of anemia in male patients with alcohol depend-ence,and to construct related prediction model.Method:The clinical data of 155 male patients with alcohol dependence were retrospectively collected, including general clinical characteristics, drinking status and experi-mental indicators.According to whether hemoglobin<130 g/L(male),the patients were divided into anemia group(n =63)and non-anemia group(n =92).Univariate and stepwise multivariate logistic regression analy-sis was used to screen the influencing factors of anemia in male alcohol dependence patients, and the prediction model was established.ROC curve was used to evaluate the predictive ability of the model. Results:Among 155 male patients with alcohol dependence,63 cases were complicated with anemia, and the incidence was 40.65%.Stepwise multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, alcohol consumption, hypokalemia, hypoproteinemia and low Lymphocyte-to-Monocyte Ratio(LMR)were the influencing factors of anemia in male patients with alcohol dependence(all P<0.05).Logistic regression equation was Logit(P)=-9.421+0.055×age+0.046×alcohol consumption+1.386×hypokalemia+1.950×hypoproteinemia+1.003×low LMR.The area under curve of the combined predictor was 0.815,the sensitivity was 77.8%,the specificity was 75.0%,and the cut-off value was 0.382.Conclusion:Age,alcohol consumption,hypokalemia,hypoproteine-mia and low LMR are the influencing factors of anemia in male patients with alcohol dependence; The prediction model constructed in this study can provide reference for early clinical evaluation of anemia in male alcohol de-pendent patients.
