Effect of group social skill rehabilitation training on long-term chronic schizophrenia inpatients
Objective:To explore the effect of group social skill rehabilitation training based on local culture on long-term hospitalized patients with chronic schizophrenia.Method:80 long-term inpatients with chronic schizophrenia admitted to the Department of Psychiatry at the Fourth People's Hospital of Haining City from January 2020 to February 2022 were enrolled and randomly divided into research group(n =40)and con-trol group(n =40)based on random number table. The research group received localized group social skill re-habilitation training on the basis of routine treatment, while the control group received routine treatment; Before and after 3 months'treatment, the efficacy was evaluated using the Negative Symptom Rating Scale(SANS)and Positive Symptom Rating Scale(SAPS),and serum interleukin-6(IL-6)levels were measured. Results:There was no significant difference between the SANS and SAPS scores before intervention between the study group and the control group(all P>0.05),and the difference between the SANS scores before and after the in-tervention in the study group was greater than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.01),and group social skills rehabilitation training had a moderate effect on nega-tive symptoms. There were significant correlations between IL-6 level difference and SANS difference,IL-6 level difference and SAPS difference before and after intervention in the study group, while there was no correlation in the control group. Conclusion:Group social skill rehabilitation training can improve negative symptoms in long-term hospitalized patients with chronic schizophrenia, and serum IL-6 levels may dysregulated in schizo-phrenia patients.
