Study on the influencing factors of blood glucose in long-term hospitalized patients with schizophrenia
Objective:To explore the related factors affecting blood glucose metabolism in inpatients with schizophrenia.Method:A total of 1 174 hospitalized patients with schizophrenia from January 1,2019 to De-cember 31,2021 were collected, including their gender, age, education level, course of illness, history of hyper-tension,and use of antipsychotic drugs.Divide into normal blood glucose group and abnormal blood glucose group based on the fasting blood glucose values in December 2021.Collect and analyze relevant indicators such as fasting blood glucose, uric acid, triglycerides, total cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein, and low-density lipo-protein from patients in December 2019 and December 2021.Results:The blood glucose in the whole group, abnormal blood glucose group and normal blood glucose group in 2021 was higher than that in 2019(P<0.05),especially in abnormal blood glucose group(Z =-2.800,P<0.05).The abnormal blood glucose group had significantly higher levels of age, disease course, prevalence of hypertension, use of clozapine, use of risperi-done,uric acid levels, and triglyceride levels than the normal blood glucose group; The use rate of Aripiprazole and the level of High-density lipoprotein in the abnormal blood glucose group were lower than those in the nor-mal blood glucose group.Triglyceride levels, age, clozapine, risperidone, and hypertension are the influencing factors of blood glucose in 2021(P<0.05).Conclusion:The level of triglyceride,age,clozapine,risperi-done and hypertension are the risk factors of abnormal blood glucose or diabetes in inpatients with schizophrenia.
