A Study on the correlation between emotion regulation ability and stigma in recovering schizophrenic patients
Objective:To investigate the correlation between emotion regulation ability and stigma in re-covering schizophrenic patients.Method:Link stigma scale and emotion regulation questionnaire(ERQ)were used to investigate the schizophrenia patients from July to December 2021 in Nanjing Brain Hospital Affili-ated To Nanjing Medical University.Link devaluation-discrimination perception scale≥2.5 points,patients were classified as stigma group,another 47 cases as non-stigma group.Results:The devaluation-discrimination dimension of the Link score showed a significant negative correlation with cognitive reappraisal in emotion regu-lation strategies,the education and challenge dimension showed a significant positive correlation with cognitive reappraisal in emotion regulation strategies,the education and challenge dimension showed a significant negative correlation with expressive suppression in emotion regulation strategies,and the devaluation-discrimination di-mension showed a significant positive correlation with expressive suppression in emotion regulation strategies.Conclusion:The use of cognitive reappraisal strategies in the emotion regulation ability of recovering schizo-phrenic patients is an important factor influencing the occurrence of patient stigma.
