Construction of risk assessment index system for long-term detention of inpatients in psychiatric hospital
Objective:To establish an operational risk evaluation index system for long-term stay of inpa-tients in psychiatric hospitals.Method:Based on literature research,Delphi method and AHP analytic hierar-chy process, two rounds of expert correspondence were carried out to determine the evaluation index system and the weights of indicators at all levels, and a clinical evaluation form was formed based on this, and Pearson corre-lation analysis was used for validity test. Results:In the two rounds of correspondence, the mean values of ex-pert judgment coefficient, familiarity coefficient and authority coefficient were 0.8490,0.8800 and 0.8645,re-spectively,and the coordination coefficient(W)of expert opinion was 0.429 and 0.286,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The AHP analytic hierarchy process was used to calculate the index weights, and the consistency test(CR<0.1)was used to obtain an evaluation system including 3 first-level indicators(basic demographic characteristics, mental illness status, and social support status),24 second-level indicators, and 76 third-level indicators, and the weights of each first-level index were 0.2232,0.183,and 0.5937,respectively.A clinical evaluation form was formed, and the number of days of hospitalization in the sample(n=88)was significantly correlated with the risk score of long-term stay(r=0.695,P<0.01).Conclusion:Based on literature research,Delphi method and AHP analytic hierarchy process, the risk factors of long-term stay of inpatients in psychiatric hospitals can be screened and determined, and the resulting evaluation form has good validity and operability, which can provide a basis for psychiatric departments to carry out clinical pathways and optimize clinical management services.
