A comparative analysis of the expert consensus on the assessment of the risk of forced medical violence in practice
Objective:To investigate the effect of expert consensus on the risk assessment of forced med-ical violence in practical application.Method:A total of 104 patients of compulsory treatment admitted to Ankang Hospital of Hangzhou police station after the implementation of the compulsory treatment law from Janu-ary 1,2013 to May 31,2022 were included,of which 55 patients had been released from compulsory treatment(discharge group)and 49 patients were still receiving compulsory treatment(pending treatment group).A self-developed clinical data questionnaire and expert consensus on violence risk assessment were used to evaluate the differences between the two groups,determine their risk levels,and follow up the status of the dissolved group.Results:There were significant differences in duration of compulsory treatment,and risk level of violence be-tween the two groups(t=-3.372、-7.104,both P<0.01),and there were no significant differences in dis-ease severity and crime type between the two groups(χ2=0.392,P=0.531;χ2=1.089,P=0.293).Conclusion:The expert consensus on the assessment of the risk of violence in compulsory medical treatment has brought great guidance to the work of forced medical treatment.
