Relationship between Internet addiction, family dynamics and the non-suicidal self-injury adolescents with depressive disorder
Objective:To explore the relationship between Internet addiction, systematic family dynamics and non-suicidal self-injury(NSSI)in adolescents with depressive disorder.Method:A total of 106 adolescent patients who were treated at The Fourth Peoples Hospital of Wuhu from March 2021 to March 2022 with depressive disorder were studied.General situation questionnaire,self-injury questionnaire, systematic family dynamics scale and internet addiction questionnaire were used. Results:The incidence of NSSI with depressive disorder in the study group was 89.6%.There were significant differences in the level of NSSI in grade,school/cyber bullying, smoking and drinking history, and impulsive object destruction(all P<0.05).The total score of Internet addiction was significantly positively correlated with the level of NSSI(P<0.05),and the total score of system family dynamics, personalized score and system logic score were significantly negatively correlated with the level of NSSI(all P<0.05).Grade(B=-12.530,t=-3.685),smoking and drinking history(B=-32.835,t=-4.112)and system logic(B=-2.918,t=-2.724)were the factors influencing the level of NSSI(all P<0.01).Conclusion:The incidence of NSSI is high in adolescents with depressive disorder.Grade, smoking and drinking history and systematic logic can negatively predict the level of NSSI in adolescents with depressive disorder.
