Influencing factors of treatment compliance of elderly patients with depression
Objective:To explore the status quo of treatment compliance of elderly patients with depression and analyze relevant influencing factors.Method:156 elderly depression patients admitted to our hospital from February 2020 to August 2022 were included as the study subjects. The treatment compliance was assessed by the medication adherence rating scale(MARS),and divided into the high compliance group and the low compliance group with the median score as the boundary,78 cases each. The general data, clinical data, sleep quality, medication attitude and depression degree of patients between the two groups were compared, and the related factors affecting the treatment compliance of patients were analyzed using multivariate logistic regression model. Results:The scale of MARS of 156 elderly patients with depression was(4.42±1.85),and the median value was 5,which was at a low compliance level. The proportion of patients with family history, education level(junior college or above)and marital status(married)in the high compliance group was higher than that in the low compliance group, and the scores of Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and Beck depression inventory(BDI)were lower than those in the low compliance group(all P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that family history, education level, marital status,PSQI and BDI scores were the influencing factors of patients'drug compliance(all P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment compliance of elderly patients with depression is at a low level.Education level and marital status are independent protective factors for elderly patients with depression, and family history,PSQI and BDI scores are independent risk factors.
