Value of living skill training combined with emotional skill training in preventing non-suicidal self-injury behaviors and improving mobile social media dependence in adolescents with depressive disorder
Objective:To explore the value of living skill training(LST)combined with emotional skill training(EST)in preventing non-suicidal self-injury(NSSI)behaviors and improving mobile social media dependence in adolescents with depressive disorder.Method:A total of 143 adolescent patients with depressive disorder treated in the hospital were enrolled between January 2020 and December 2022.According to different nursing methods, they were divided into observation group(n=57)and control group(n=86).The observation group was given LST combined with EST,while control group was only given LST.The scores of self-injury behavior scale, mobile social media dependence and Newcastle satisfaction with nursing scale were compared before and after nursing. Results:After nursing, scores of depression and loneliness, aggression and discipline violation,self-harm,withdrawal and self-criticism,and total score were decreased in both groups, which were lower in observation group than control group, the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).After nursing, scores of salience, social gain, abstinence, compulsivity and conflict were decreased in both groups, which were lower in observation group than control group, the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).After nursing, scores of care and love, technology and responsibility, guidance and support, and total score were increased in both groups, which were higher in observation group than control group, the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion:LST combined with EST can improve depressive disorder, mobile social media dependence and prevent NSSI behaviors in adolescents.
