Research Progress on drug combined psychotherapy for major depressive disorders in adolescents
Adolescent depression is very common,and it has become one of the major public health problems in the world.There are many interventions for adolescent depression,and the key challenge is how to implement currently available effective treatments best.Generally,antidepressants,psychotherapies,and physicotherapies are often used in routine clinical practice.However,there is evidence for increased numbers of prescriptions for antidepressants for adolescents,and a large number of literatures on psychotherapy of adolescent depression are published,available evidence on the comparative efficacy of these interventions is inconclusive.Therefore,this paper will review the drug combined with psychotherapy for adolescent depression combined with the limited clinical research evidence.
