Current status of active aging of elderly schizophrenia and its influence factors
Objective:To understand the current status of active aging of elderly schizophrenia and analyze its influence factors.Method:With convenience sampling method,219 elderly patients with schizophrenia from Beijing HuiLongGuan Hospital and The First Psychiatric Hosptital of Harbin were selected as subjects from October 2022 to April 2023 and they were investigated by using general data questionnaire, active aging scale, schizophrenia quality of life scale and schizophrenia self-management scale.Spearman correlation analysis and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of active aging in elderly patients with schizophrenia. Results:The total scores of active aging, quality of life and self-management were(57.37±1.46),(80.23±1.96)and(94.05±2.28).Spearman correlation analysis showed that active aging was significantly negatively correlated with life quality score(P<0.05)and self-management score was significantly positively correlated(P<0.05).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that chronic disease and hospital stay entered the regression equation(all P<0.05),accounting for 74.2%of the active aging variation in elderly patients with schizophrenia. Conclusion:Active aging in elderly patients with schizophrenia is at a low level and is affected by quality of life,self-management,length of hospital stay and chronic disease.
