Visual analysis of snakebite research in China based on CiteSpace
Objective:To understand the research hotspots and development trends of snakebite in China and provide a reference for related research.Methods:Relevant studies in the field of snakebite published on CNKI da-tabase from January 1,1999,to December 31,2022,were retrieved.CiteSpace 6.2.R4 software was utilized for visual analysis of the literature.The current research status in this field was analyzed from the key features such as publication quantity,institutions,and authors.Keyword co-occurrence,clustering,and emergent analysis were employed to explore the knowledge base,research hotspots,and frontiers in this field.Results:A total of 1145 papers were included,and the publication quantity showed a stable fluctuating trend from rapid growth to the present.The research hotspots in this field focus on exploring the clinical manifestations,treatment methods,and therapeutic effects of snakebite.Collaboration between authors and institutions in the field of snakebite in China is not close,with most authors preferring independent publication.The institutions primarily issued documents to u-niversity affiliated hospitals and traditional Chinese medicine hospitals.The collaboration between institutions is mainly limited to provincial cooperation and did not form large-scale cross-provincial collaboration.Conclusion:Snakebite in China is gradually attracting the attention of relevant researchers,and the research trend in this field is developing towards the direction of physiological and psychological multi-dimensional treatment and epidemio-logical research following snakebite.
