Objective To analyze the diagnostic and prognostic value of quantitative parameters of positron emission tomography/computed tomography(PET-CT)in breast cancer.Methods A total of 110 patients with breast cancer diag-nosed and treated from May 2019 to June 2022 were included in the malignant group,and 100 cases of benign breast lesions treated during the same period were included in the benign group.PET-CT examination was performed before operation in both groups.Breast cancer patients were divided into good prognosis group(n =71)and poor prognosis group(n =39)according to prognosis at 1-year follow-up.Quantitative parameters of PET-CT(maximum standard uptake value(SUVmax),metabolic tumor volume(MTV)and total lesion glycolysis(TLG)were compared between the benign group and the malignant group.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was conducted to explore the risk factors affecting the prognosis of breast cancer pa-tients.The value of PET-CT quantitative parameters in diagnosis and prognosis of breast cancer was analyzed by receiver oper-ating characteristic(ROC)curve.Results SUVmax,MTV and TLG in the malignant group were higher than those in the be-nign group(P<0.01).The area under the ROC curve(AUC)of SUVmax,MTV and TLG in the diagnosis of breast cancer were 0.824,0.747 and 0.859,respectively,and the AUC of the combined diagnosis of the three indicators was 0.918.SUVmax,MTV and TLG in the poor prognosis group were higher than those in the good prognosis group(P<0.01).Tumor maximum diameter,clinical stage,lymph node metastasis,SUVmax,MTV and TLG were independent risk factors for poor prognosis of breast cancer patients(P<0.01).The AUC of SUVmax,MTV and TLG in predicting poor prognosis of breast cancer patients was 0.846,0.795 and 0.873,respectively,and the AUC of combined detection of the three indicators was 0.894.Conclusion PET-CT quantitative parameters can be used for clinical diagnosis and prognosis assessment of breast cancer,and the combined detection of the three has higher application value.
