Observation of the Effect of Extracorporeal Shock Wave Combined with Single Row Suture Under Arthroscopy in the Treatment of Small and Medi-um Rotator Cuff Injury
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of extracorporeal shock wave combined with single row suture under arthroscopy in the treatment of small and medium rotator cuff injury. Methods In total,158 cases of small and medi-um rotator cuff injury from April 2020 to April 2022 were selected and divided into research group and control group according to different treatment methods. The control group was treated with extracorporeal shock wave therapy, and the research group was treated with single row suture under arthroscopy based on the control group. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared, including range of motion(ROM)of the shoulder, shoulder joint recovery, shoulder joint pain degree and shoulder joint function before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of the research group was 96.20%,which was high-er than that of the control group(86.08%)(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of external rotation, internal rotation, abduction ROM and University of California at Los Angeles Shoulder Scale(UCLASS)were increased in the two groups, which were higher in the research group(P<0.01).After treatment, the score of visual analogue score(VAS)was lower in both groups, and lower in the research group(P<0.01).After treatment,Constant score and American Association for Shoulder and Elbow Surgery score were increased in the two groups, which were higher in the research group(P<0.01).Conclusion Extracorporeal shock wave combined with single row suture under arthroscope is effective in the treatment of small and medium rotator cuff injury, which can improve shoulder joint function, reduce shoulder pain and promote shoulder joint recovery.
