Objective To investigate the effect of glucocorticoid injection by puncture through thyrohyoid membrane in the treatment of laryngeal contact granuloma(LCG).Methods A total of 88 patients with LCG treated from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected and divided into control group(treated with acid suppression therapy,n =52)and observation group(treated with glucocorticoid injection by puncture through thyrohyoid membrane on the basis of control group,n =36)according to different treatment methods.All cases were followed up for 12 months,and the therapeutic effect and duration of cure of the two groups were compared.Results There was no difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(P>0.05),but the cure rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The duration of cure of observation group was(91.62±4.00)d,which was shorter than that of control group[(126.44±5.50)d](P<0.05).Conclusion Glucocorticoid injection by puncture through thyrohyoid membrane combined with acid suppressive ther-apy is more effective for LCG,with operability,feasibility,and a high success rate,which can significantly shorten the course of treatment.
