Acute ischemic stroke(AIS)is one of the diseases with high mortality and disability rate, and intravenous thrombolysis and intravascular therapy are effective methods for the clinical treatment of this disease. After the concept of cere-bral small vessel disease(CSVD)was proposed,a series of studies have found that it has a significant correlation with the prognosis of AIS treatment. In particular, the total load score of CSVD can better assess the impact of CSVD on the overall brain function. At home and abroad, various levels of studies have been conducted on the prognosis of intravenous thrombolys-is and endovascular treatment of AIS,aiming at predicting progression of disease and intervening in advance for patients with AIS,so as to reduce the disability rate and mortality rate of patients. This review focuses on the correlation between the total load of CSVD and the prognosis of AIS.
