Expression of miR-328,PIM1 mRNA and PLCE mRNA in Cancer Tissues of Patients with Breast Cancer and Their Relationship with Clinicopatho-logical Features
Objective To study the expression of miR-328,PIM1 mRNA and PLCE mRNA in cancer tissues of pa-tients with breast cancer and their relationship with clinicopathological features.Methods In total,105 patients with breast cancer undergoing surgical treatment from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected.The expression levels of miR-328,PIM1 mRNA and PLCE1 mRNA in postoperative cancer tissue and adjacent normal tissue samples were detected by RT-PCR,and the relationship between the expression levels of each indicator and the clinicopathological features of the patients was ana-lyzed.All patients were followed up for 3 years,and survival analysis was performed using Kaplan-Meier curve.Results The expression level of miR-328 in cancer tissues was lower than that in paracancerous tissues,while the expression levels of PIM1 mRNA and PLCE1 mRNA were higher than those in paracancerous tissues(P<0.01).The level of miR-328 in breast cancer tissues of patients with lymph node metastasis was lower than that of patients without lymph node metastasis,while the levels of PIM1 mRNA and PLCE1 mRNA were higher than those without lymph node metastasis,and PIM1 mRNA level in patients with TNM stage Ⅲ breast cancer patients was higher than that in patients with TNM stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ,showing significant difference(P<0.05,P<0.01).The 3-year overall survival rate of breast cancer patients in the high-expression miR-328 group was 92.45%(49/53),which was higher than that in the low-expression group[80.77%(42/52)],and the 3-year overall sur-vival rate in the low-expression PIM1 mRNA group was 96.15%(50/52),which was higher than that in the high-expression group[77.36%(41/53)].The 3-year overall survival rate in the low expression PLCE1 mRNA group was 90.38%(47/52),which was higher than that[83.02%(44/53)]in the high expression group,and the difference was statistically signif-icant(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of miR-328 decreased,while the expression of PIM1 mRNA and PLCE1 mRNA increased in the cancer tissues of breast cancer patients,which were related to lymph node metastasis and prognosis,and the expression level of PIM1 mRNA was also related to TNM stage.
