Objective To explore the effect of continuous intervention after surgery for lower limb varicose vein and to analyze the factors affecting recurrence. Methods A total of 100 patients with lower limb varicose veins receiving surgery from March 2020 to September 2022 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received conventional intervention, and the observation group received continuous intervention. The recurrence, coagulation function and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Patients were divided into recurrence group(n=42)and non-recurrence group(n=58)according to presence of recurrence at 12 months after surgery.General data of the two groups were collected and the factors influencing postoperative recurrence were analyzed by multivariate Logistic re-gression.Results The recurrence rate of observation group at 6,9 and 12 months after surgery was lower than that of control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).The thrombin time, prothrombin time and activated partial prothrombin time in observation group were longer than those in control group(P<0.05).The physical, psychological, role and social dimension scores of the observa-tion group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Age ≥60 years, body mass index(BMI),education level, years of varicose veins, coagulation function and continuous intervention were all influential factors for postoperative recurrence of lower limb varicose veins(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Age,BMI,education level, years of varicose veins and coagulation function are the influential factors for postoperative recurrence of lower limb varicose veins.Continuous intervention can re-duce the recurrence rate and improve the quality of life.
