Expression of Serum Nucleotide-Binding Oligomeric Domain-Like Receptor Protein 3 Inflammasome and Related Cytokines in Patients with Cervical Cancer and Its Clinical Significance
Objective To investigate the expression level and clinical significance of serum nucleotide-binding oligo-meric domain-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)inflammatome and related cytokines in patients with cervical cancer.Methods Seventy-eight patients with cervical cancer admitted from March 2021 to March 2024 were selected as the cancer group,and 78 patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia during the same period were selected as the precancer group.The levels of NLRP3 inflammasome[NLRP3,apoptosis-related speck-like protein containing a CARD(ASC),Caspase-1],inter-leukin-18(IL-18)and interleukin-1β(IL-1β)in serum of the two groups were compared.The correlations of serum NLRP3,ASC,Caspase-1 with IL-18 and IL-1β were analyzed by Pearson correlation.The relationship between the levels of related cy-tokines and clinicopathological features in patients with cervical cancer was analyzed.Results The levels of IL-18,IL-1β,NLRP3,ASC,Caspase-1 in cancer group were higher than those in precancer group(P<0.01).The results of Pearson cor-relation analysis showed that serum NLRP3,ASC,and Caspase-1 levels were positively correlated with IL-18 and IL-1β levels(P<0.05,P<0.01).The higher the clinical stage and the lower the differentiation degree,the higher the levels of IL-18 and IL-1β(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in IL-18 and IL-1β levels in cancer patients with and without lymph node metastasis(P>0.05).Conclusion The levels of serum IL-18,IL-1β and NLRP3 inflammasomes are abnor-mally increased in patients with cervical cancer,and their changes are correlated with malignant progression of cancer.
