Study on the Effect of Acupuncture and General Acupuncture Combined with Venlafaxine in the Treatment of the First Episode of Generalized Anx-iety Disorder Under the Guidance of the Dialectical Model of Body Differ-entiation and Disease Differentiation
Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture and general acupuncture combined with Venlafaxine in the treatment of the first episode of generalized anxiety disorder(GAD)under the guidance of the dialectical model of body differentiation and disease differentiation. Methods A total of 150 GAD patients admitted from January 2021 to January 2024 were included and divided into observation group(n=75)and control group(n=75)using random number table method. The observation group was given acupuncture combined with Venlafaxine under the guidance of the dialectical model of body differentiation and disease differentiation, while the control group was given general acupuncture combined with Venlafaxine. The treatment lasted 8 weeks, and the efficacy was evaluated after treatment.Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores were compared between the two groups before treatment, and at 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treat-ment.Serum levels of serotonin, norepinephrine(NE)and dopamine were compared between the two groups before treatment and at 8 weeks after treatment, and adverse reactions of the two groups during Venlafaxine treatment were recorded. Results than those before treatment, and lower at 8 weeks after treatment than at 4 weeks after treatment(P<0.05).The HAMA scores and SAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group at 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treat-ment(P<0.01).At 8 weeks after treatment, the levels of serotonin,NE and dopamine in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05,P<0.01).There was no sig-nificant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups during Venlafaxine treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Acu-puncture combined with Venlafaxine in the treatment of first episode of GAD under the guidance of the dialectical model of body differentiation and disease differentiation is effective and can improve anxiety symptoms and central neurotransmitter lev-els in patients.
