The influence of intraocular lens capsular complexon the position of intraocular lens after cataract surgery
Objective To investigate the influence of intraocular lens(IOL)capsular complex morphology on the tilt and decentration of IOL.Methods It was a cohort study.Ultrasound emulsification combined with single-piece folded IOL capsular bag intraoperative implantation was performed in 121 cases(121 eyes)with age-related cataract. The morphol-ogy of IOL capsular complex was collected postoperatively by the slit lamp, and the direction and degree of the decentra-tion and tilt of the IOL in each group were measured by Pentacam. Results At 3 months after IOL implantation, the decen-tration of the full compression capsule group was smaller than that of the other three combined groups(t=-2.020,P<0.05)in 180-degree plane. The tilt of the nasal group was larger to the temporal side than the temporal group in the partial com-pression group in 180-degree plane(t=2.613,P<0.05).Conclusions All the edges of the anterior lens capsule tear are lo-cated on the optical surface of the IOL,which is the best complex morphology to ensure the orthotropic position of the IOL after the operation.
