Research progress on retinal and choroid blood perfusion in myopia based on optical coherence tomography angiography
The high prevalence of myopia has become a global concern.Mechanical stretching caused by excessive eyeball elongation leads to various anatomical changes in the fundus and vascular abnormalities, which tend to be subtle and easily overlooked. Therefore,it is more dependent on innovation and development of imaging technology.Optical co-herence tomography angiography(OCTA)is a new non-invasive imaging technology which can quickly obtain the retinal and choroidal microvascular images layer by layer. This review summarises previous findings on myopia blood perfusion,so as to provide a new direction for the prevention and control of myopia and understanding the pathogenesis of myopia.
