Research progress of imaging technology in the diagnosis of neovascular glaucoma
Neovascular glaucoma(NVG)is a potentially blinding secondary glaucoma caused by abnormal neovas-cularization.The incidence of NVG is usually slow and hidden.Early detection and early treatment of the disease can greatly and effectively reduce its blindness rate.In recent years, with the wide application of imaging diagnostic techniques in the diagnosis and follow-up of NVG,the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of NVG have made significant progress. These new advances provide an important basis for the accurate diagnosis and subsequent effective treatment of NVG-related diseases. The article will review these new developments.
