Effect of Jianpi Hechang decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of acute enteritis in children
Objective To explore the effect of Jianpi Hechang decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of acute enteritis in children.Methods A total of 80 children with acute enteritis who were hospitalized in pediatrics department from June 2020 to April 2022 were selected as the research objects.The children were divided into combined group and western medicine group according to different medication methods,with 40 cases in each group.The western medicine group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the combined group was treated with Jianpi Hechang decoction on the basis of the western medicine group.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The cure rate of the combined group was higher than that of the western medicine group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the total effective rate of treatment between the two groups(P>0.05).The antipyretic time,normal stool frequency time,normal stool texture time and hospitalization time of the combined group were shorter than those of the western medicine group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of abdominal pain,stool frequency,stool property,abdominal distension,lassitude and limb sleepiness in the combined group were lower than those in the western medicine group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)levels and CD8+ in the combined group were lower than those in the western medicine group,and the CD4+ was higher than that in the western medicine group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups during the treatment.Conclusion Jianpi Hechang decoction combined with western medicine can effectively alleviate the symptoms of children with acute enteritis,improve the cure rate,regulate the levels of inflammatory factors and immune function indexes,and has high safety,which is worthy of promotion and application in clinical practice.
