Effect of transabdominal myomectomy combined with mifepristone and Guizhi Fuling capsule in the treatment of uterine fibroids and its influence on growth factors levels
Objective To explore the effect of transabdominal myomectomy combined with mifepristone and Guizhi Fuling capsule in the treatment of uterine fibroids and its influence on growth factors levels.Methods A total of 120 patients with uterine fibroids admitted from April 2019 to April 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.Both groups were given transabdominal myomectomy.The control group was treated with mifepristone after operation,and the observation group was treated with mifepristone and Guizhi Fuling capsule after operation.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),epidermal growth factor(EGF)and hypoxia inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the microvessel density and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)level in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 6 and 12 months after treatment,the recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Transabdominal myomectomy combined with mifepristone and Guizhi Fuling capsule is effective in the treatment of uterine fibroids.It can effectively inhibit the levels of growth factors,reduce neovascularization and recurrence rate,which is worth promoting.
