Effect of different administration routes of meropenem in the treatment of patients with postoperative intracranial infection after craniocerebral injury and its influence on prognosis
Objective To analyze the effect of different administration routes of meropenem in the treatment of patients with postoperative intracranial infection after craniocerebral injury and its influence on prognosis. Methods From January 2020 to December 2023,90 patients with postoperative intracranial infection after craniocerebral injury were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into routine group(23 cases, routine intravenous drip)and observation group(67 cases, routine intravenous drip + intraventricular injection)by different administration routes of meropenem. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the routine group(P<0.05).The indwelling time of external ventricular drainage tube and the duration of intravenous medication in the observation group were shorter than those in the routine group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-34(IL-34),procalcitonin(PCT)and white blood cell(WBC)in the observation group were lower than those in the routine group(P<0.05).After treatment,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+ in the observation group were higher than those in the routine group, and CD8+ was lower than that in the routine group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Meropenem routine intravenous drip + intraventricular injection can achieve ideal curative effect and prognosis guarantee in the treatment of patients with postoperative intracranial infection after craniocerebral injury.
