Effects of acetylcysteine combined with continuous positive airway pressure noninvasive ventilator on blood gas index and sleep state in patients with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome
Objective To explore the effect of acetylcysteine combined with continuous positive airway pressure noninvasive ventilator in the treatment of moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Methods A total of 90 patients with moderate to severe OSAHS admitted in our hospital from January 2017 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with continuous positive airway pressure noninvasive ventilator, and the observation group was treated with acetylcysteine on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2)and the blood oxygen saturation(SaO2)were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the respiratory resistance at 5 Hz(R5),oscillation frequency total respiratory impedance at 5 Hz(Z5)and central airway viscosity resistance at 20 Hz oscillation frequency(R20)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the number of awakenings in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the deep sleep time and rapid eye movement(REM)time were longer than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Acetylcysteine combined with continuous positive airway pressure noninvasive ventilator in the treatment of moderate to severe OSAHS can not only regulate the blood gas index of patients, but also reduce airway resistance and improve sleep status.
