Clinical effect of mesalazine combined with colloidal bismuth pectin granules in the treatment of ulcerative colitis and its influence on inflammatory factors
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of mesalazine combined with colloidal bismuth pectin granules in the treatment of ulcerative colitis and its influence on inflammatory factors. Methods A total of 82 patients with ulcerative colitis admitted from January 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the study subjects. The patients were randomly divided into conventional group(41 cases, colloidal bismuth pectin granules treatment)and observation group(41 cases, mesalazine combined with colloidal bismuth pectin granules treatment). The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the conventional group(P<0.05).The disappearance time of upper abdominal pain, acid reflux, belching and purulent blood in the observation group were shorter than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of nitric oxide(NO),osteopontin(OPN)and interleukin-33(IL-33)in the observation group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the levels of epidermal growth factor(EGF)and interleukin-35(IL-35)were higher than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).After treatment, the CD4+,CD4+/CD8+,immunoglobulin G(IgG)and immunoglobulin A(IgA)levels in the observation group were higher than those in the conventional group, and CD8+ was lower than that in the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the anal resting pressure and anal maximum systolic pressure in the observation group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the rectal resting pressure was higher than that in the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups during treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Mesalazine combined with colloidal bismuth pectin granules in the treatment of ulcerative colitis can achieve safe and efficient clinical results.
