Application effect of health education nursing mode in patients with prostate cancer spinal metastasis undergoing surgical treatment
Objective To observe the application effect of health education nursing mode in patients with prostate cancer spinal metastasis undergoing surgical treatment.Methods A total of 185 patients with prostate cancer spinal metastasis who underwent surgical treatment from October 2016 to October 2021 were selected as the research objects,and the patients were divided into control group(from October 2016 to October 2019,89 cases)and observation group(from November 2019 to October 2021,96 cases)according to inclusion time.The control group was given routine nursing intervention,and the observation group was given health education nursing mode intervention.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the scores of Pain Rating Index(PRI),Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Present Pain Intensity(PPI),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Oswetry Dysfunction Index(ODI)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the Karnofsky Performance Score(KPS)score was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The health education nursing mode for patients with prostate cancer spinal metastasis undergoing surgical treatment has better application effect,which is worthy of promotion and application.
