Clinical effect of levocetirizine hydrochloride oral solution combined with montelukast sodium in the treatment of combined allergic rhinitis and asthma syndrome and its influence on Th17/Treg
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of levocetirizine hydrochloride oral solution combined with montelukast sodium in the treatment of combined allergic rhinitis and asthma syndrome and its influence on T helper cell 17(Th17)/regulatory T cell(Treg). Methods A total of 120 patients with combined allergic rhinitis and asthma syndrome admitted from February 2021 to March 2022 were selected as the study objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with montelukast sodium, and the observation group was additionally treated with levocetirizine hydrochloride oral solution. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the symptom score of allergic rhinitis in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the score of asthma control test was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of immunoglobulin E(IgE)and procalcitonin(PCT)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the interferon-γ(IFN-γ)level was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the Th17 and Th17/Treg in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the Treg was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Levocetirizine hydrochloride oral solution combined with montelukast sodium in the treatment of combined allergic rhinitis and asthma syndrome can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, reduce the release of inflammatory factors, and improve the level of Th17/Treg,which is worthy of promotion and application.
