Clinical effect of methylprednisolone sodium succinate for injection combined with ambroxol in the treatment of children with severe pneumonia and its influence on inflammatory response
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of methylprednisolone sodium succinate for injection combined with ambroxol in the treatment of children with severe pneumonia(SP)and its infiuence on inflammatory response. Methods A total of 100 children with SP admitted from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the research objects.According to the parity of admission number, the children were divided into control group and observation group, with 50 cases in each group. All children were given conventional symptomatic treatment + azithromycin sequential therapy after admission, the control group was treated with ambroxol on the basis of the above, and the observation group was treated with methylprednisolone sodium succinate for injection on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the percentage of forced expiratory volume in first second to predicted value(FEV1%),forced vital capacity(FVC),FEV1/FVC,tidal volume(TV)and peak expiratory flow rate(PEF)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin M(IgM),immunoglobulin G(IgG)and CD4+ in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and CD8+ was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),total immunoglobulin E(TIgE)and eosinophil cationic protein(ECP)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of interleukin-10(IL-10)was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Methylprednisolone sodium succinate for injection combined with ambroxolis has a better effect in the treatment of children with SP.
