Clinical effect of ultrasound-guided myofascial trigger point acupuncture combined with target radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of patients with low back pain
Objective To explore the clinical effect of ultrasound-guided myofascial trigger point acupuncture combined with target radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of patients with low back pain. Methods A total of 80 patients with low back pain admitted from January 2021 to February 2022 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with simple target radiofrequency ablation, and the observation group was treated with ultrasound-guided myofascial trigger point acupuncture combined with target radiofrequency ablation. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the pressure pain discomfort threshold(PPDT)and pressure pain tolerance threshold(PPTO)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of Pain Rating Index(PRI),Present Pain Intensity(PPI)and Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of cortisol(Cor)and adrenocorticotrophic hormone(ACTH)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound-guided myofascial trigger point acupuncture combined with target radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of low back pain can improve the efficacy and PPDT,PPTO,reduce pain and stress response, and improve dysfunction, which is worthy of promotion.
