Value of vaginal ultrasound and volume contrast imaging C plane examination combined with HCG and progesterone detection in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy
Objective To investigate the value of vaginal ultrasound and volume contrast imaging C plane(VCI-C)examination combined with human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG)and progesterone detection in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. Methods According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the medical records of 80 patients with 6-8 weeks of menopause and abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding admitted from January 2019 to January 2023 were retrospectively included. All patients underwent vaginal ultrasound combined with VCI-C examination and HCG and progesterone detection. The value of vaginal ultrasound and VCI-C examination combined with HCG and progesterone determination in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy was analyzed. Results The results of postoperative pathological diagnosis showed that there were 74 cases of ectopic pregnancy in 80 patients, accounting for 92.50%.Postoperative pathological diagnosis was taken as the gold standard, the consistency between the results of vaginal ultrasound combined with VCI-C examination in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy and postoperative pathological diagnosis was generally(Kappa=0.586,P=0.001);the consistency between the results of HCG combined with progesterone detection in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy and postoperative pathological diagnosis was poor(Kappa=0.355,P=0.001);the consistency between the results of vaginal ultrasound and VCI-C examination combined with HCG and progesterone detection in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy and postoperative pathological diagnosis was good(Kappa=0.820,P<0.001).The sensitivity and accuracy of vaginal ultrasound and VCI-C examination combined with HCG and progesterone detection in the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy were significantly higher than those of vaginal ultrasound combined with VCI-C examination and HCG combined with progesterone detection,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion The diagnostic results of vaginal ultrasound and VCI-C examination combined with HCG and progesterone detection is consistent with the postoperative pathological diagnosis results, and has high diagnostic value for ectopic pregnancy, which can provide references for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
