Effect of Bitong decoction combined with moxibustion on allergic rhinitis and its influences on ventilation function and immune balance
Objective To explore the effect of Bitong decoction combined with moxibustion on allergic rhinitis(AR)and its influences on ventilation function and immune balance.Methods A total of 70 patients with AR admitted in our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the research objects.According to the random lottery method,the patients were divided into control group(35 cases,western medicine treatment)and study group(35 cases,Bitong decoction combined with moxibustion treatment).The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the peak expiratory flow(PEF)of the two groups increased,the diurnal variation rate of PEF decreased,and those in the study group were better than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the T helper 17 cells(Th17)and interleukin-17(IL-17)level in the two groups decreased,while the regulatory T cells(Treg)and transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)level increased,and those in the study group were better than the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Bitong decoction combined with moxibustion in the treatment of AR has a significantly effect,it can effectively improve the ventilation function and immune balance,with the advantages of less adverse reactions and high safety,which is worthy of promotion.
