Effects of psychological nursing intervention based on stress system theory on fear emotion and degree of post-traumatic stress disorder in patients with severe pneumonia undergoing mechanical ventilation
Objective To explore the effects of psychological nursing intervention based on stress system theory on fear emotion and degree of post-traumatic stress disorder in patients with severe pneumonia undergoing mechanical ventilation.Methods A total of 200 patients with severe pneumonia who received mechanical ventilation admitted from March 2021 to February 2022 were selected as the research objects,and the patients were divided into control group and observation group according to the difference of nursing methods,with 100 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing intervention,and the observation group was given psychological nursing intervention based on stress system theory on the basis of routine nursing.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the scores of each dimension of Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form(FoP-Q-SF)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of each dimension of Impact of Event Scale-Revised(IES-R)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the arterial oxygen saturation(SaO2)and partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2)was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the positive behavior score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the negative behavior and conflict behavior scores were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Psychological nursing intervention based on stress system theory can reduce the fear emotion and degree of post-traumatic stress disorder of patients with severe pneumonia undergoing mechanical ventilation,promote the improvement of blood gas indicators,and also improve the nursing cooperation of patients,which is worth promoting.
