Effects of training guidance based on OSCE on the comprehensive quality and core competence of practice nurses
Objective To explore the effects of training guidance based on objective structured clinical examination(OSCE)on the comprehensive quality and core competence of practice nurses. Methods A total of 90 nurses who practiced in our hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was intervened by conventional teaching mode, and the observation group was intervened by training guidance based on OSCE on the basis of conventional teaching mode. The intervention effects of the two groups were compared. Results The theoretical score, skill operation score and total score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After teaching, the scores of self-learning ability, collaboration ability and problem-solving ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After teaching, the scores of clinical nursing, interpersonal relationship, leadership ability, professional development, education and consultation, critical thinking and scientific research, legal and ethical practice in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Training guidance based on OSCE is helpful to improve the assessment results of practice nurses and enhance their comprehensive quality and core competence, which is worthy of promotion.
