Research progress of acromial morphology in the diagnosis of degenerative rotator cuff tear
Degenerative rotator cuff tear is a common cause of shoulder pain, with the aging of modern society, the incidence of degenerative rotator cuff tear is increasing. Many studies have confirmed that there is a certain correlation between acromion morphology and the occurrence of degenerative rotator cuff tear. The critical shoulder angle(CSA)and acromion index(AI)can reflect the individual anatomical differences of acromion morphology.Reviewing the relevant literature,it is found that CSA and AI can predict the occurrence of degenerative rotator cuff tear to a certain extent, but the diagnostic value and prediction method of degenerative rotator cuff tear still need further study.
