Effect of Embosphere microspheres embolization of uterine artery in the treatment of adenomyosis and its influences on uterine blood flow and growth factors
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Embosphere microspheres embolization of uterine artery in the treatment of adenomyosis.Methods A total of 100 patients with adenomyosis admitted from April 2018 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with laparoscopic lesion resection,and the observation group was treated with Embosphere microsphere embolization of uterine artery.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the menstrual volume of the observation group was less than that of the control group,the dysmenorrhea score was lower than that of the control group,and the endometrial thickness was less than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the pulsatility index(PI)and resistance index(RI)of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and peak systolic blood velocity(PSV)was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),insulin like growth factor-1(IGF-1)and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Embosphere microspheres embolization of uterine artery in the treatment of adenomyosis has satisfactory effect.It can reduce menstrual flow and dysmenorrhea,improve endometrial thickness,regulate uterine blood flow,and inhibit growth factor levels.
