Effects of sural nerve small saphenous vein nutritional vascular flap repair combined with vacuum sealing drainage on flap sensory function and inflammatory factors levels in patients with foot and ankle soft tissue defect
Objective To investigate the application effect of sural nerve small saphenous vein nutritional vascular flap repair combined with vacuum sealing drainage(VSD)in patients with foot and ankle soft tissue defect. Methods A total of 108 patients with foot and ankle soft tissue defect admitted from January 2019 to January 2022 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 54 cases in each group. The control group was treated with sural nerve small saphenous vein nutritional vascular flap repair, and the observation group was treated with VSD on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The sensory function grading of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the blood perfusion index, transcutaneous oxygen pressure(TcPO2)and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)level in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of foot function recovery in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The sural nerve small saphenous vein nutritional vascular flap repair combined with VSD in the treatment of foot and ankle soft tissue defect can further improve the sensory function of the flap, reduce inflammation, accelerate wound healing, and improve the recovery of foot and ankle function.
