Qualitative study on motivation of rehabilitation exercise behavior in patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans
Objective To understand the motivation of rehabilitation exercise behavior in patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans(LEASO),so as to provide basis and suggestions for the management of patients'good rehabilitation exercise behavior.Methods The purpose sampling method was used to select 28 LEASO patients for semi-structured in-depth interviews.The Colaizzi 7-step analysis method was used to summarize,encode,refine and verify the text data.Results Four themes that affect the motivation of rehabilitation exercise behavior in LEASO patients:cognitive ambiguity of rehabilitation exercise related knowledge,perception of risk of poor rehabilitation exercise behavior,cue stimulation of rehabilitation exercise behavior and self-efficacy of rehabilitation exercise management.Conclusion Nursing staff can improve patients'awareness of the disease,increase their perception of the benefits of rehabilitation exercise and the severity of the disease,improve the poor rehabilitation behavior of disease management,stimulate patients'rehabilitation exercise behavior clues and self-efficacy of disease management,promote patients from passive acceptance to active participation in disease recovery and management,and improve the behavioral compliance of patients'rehabilitation exercise.
